Street Kanji #1

Today is the first series of lessons on Kanji, which you will see on your travels around Japan. To start of let us look at the Kanji for Entrance and Exit.
入口 ー いりぐち -  Iriguchi - Entrance.(Sometimes it is written has: 入り口)

出口 - でぐち - Deguchi - Exit


Kanji break down:

入 ー Enter / Insert 
ON Reading: Nyuu , Ju
KUN Reading: Iru, Iri, Ire

出 - Exit / Leave / Go Out / Come Out / Put Out / Protude
ON Reading: Shutsu, Sui
KUN Reading: Deru, De.

口 - Gate / Mouth / Opening.
ON Reading: Kou, Ku
KUN Reading: Kuchi.

Simple sentences:

入 口は、あちらです。
Iriguchi wa, achira desu.
The entrance is over there.

出 口は、どこですか。
Deguchi wa, doko desu ka.
Where is the exit?
