Mosquitoes.....Grrrrrrr!

その週末は暑いと蒸し暑いでした。ですから、蚊にたくさん刺されました。
Sono shuumatsu wa atsui to mushiatsui deshita. Desukara, ka ni takusan sasaremashita.
Translation:
The weekend was hot and humid. So, therefore, I have a lot of mosquito bites.

蚊 － Ka － Mosquito

If you are bitten by a mosquito you would say:

（私は）蚊に刺された。 － （Watashi wa) ka ni sasareta. － I have been bitten by a mosquito. (I've been bitten by mosquitoes)
(Just say: 蚊に刺された。－ka ni sasareta. It sounds more natual and fluent)

And of course a mosquito bite really itches, so when you scratch the bite you can cry out:

かゆい！ － Kayui! － It itches!
